We create space for genuine, purpose‑driven conversation. Founders, small business owners and curious professionals come together to grow through shared experience, not feeds or algorithms. Each month you’ll connect for a focused 45‑minute conversation with someone whose goals and values are aligned with yours. One connection can change everything.

Trust means knowing the person you’re meeting is real, present and here for the right reasons. It’s our commitment to a safe, respectful community where bad behaviour isn’t ignored or brushed aside.

Authenticity means leaving the elevator pitch behind. This is a space for genuine conversation, not a job interview. It’s about the honest connection that happens when you can show up as your real, unpolished self.

Reciprocity means conversations aren’t one‑sided. You give and receive support, ideas and experience, whether you’re just starting out or have years behind you. We believe useful insight can come from anyone in the room.

Agency means having control over your time, energy and story. You choose what you share, what you work on and how often you connect, with each 45‑minute conversation there to help you move forward on your own terms.
Every connection in tara starts with intention. We focus on one 45‑minute conversation at a time so it feels useful, not overwhelming.
Real people using their own names, in a respectful space where safety and kindness come first.
Each month you’ll be introduced to someone whose goals and interests are close to yours, not just a random contact.
Simple prompts help you prepare, start strong and keep the discussion flowing without awkward small talk.

We’re opening tara to our first members through an early access launch. This is the stage where we learn with you, not just about you.
In this phase, you’ll sign in with Google, create a short profile and tell us what you’re building and who you’d like to connect with. Your answers help us design thoughtful one‑to‑one introductions for the next phase.
Some features are still evolving, and connections will start gradually. If you’re happy to join early and share feedback, you’ll help shape how tara grows for everyone who comes after you.
tara helps you have honest, one‑to‑one conversations that actually move your work forward, without the pressure or noise of traditional networking.
You’ll see the other person’s profile in advance, so you can arrive prepared and skip awkward introductions.
Guided prompts help you start strong and keep the conversation flowing, even if you’re new to this kind of chat.
Swap long events and travel for one focused 45‑minute online conversation each month that fits around your life.
Trade real stories and lessons, so you can solve problems quicker and see your work from new angles.
There’s no content to perform for. tara simply creates the space for one meaningful connection at a time.
tara welcomes people from different backgrounds, careers and identities, with a focus on accessibility and belonging.
tara is for people who care about real conversation. Here’s the kind of person our early members are hoping to connect with through one‑to‑one introductions.
“I want to talk to someone who’s also building something from scratch and can be honest about what’s hard, not just the highlight reel.”

“I’d love to meet people in similar roles who I can swap real stories with about tricky stakeholders, team dynamics and the reality behind the job title.”

“I’m looking for someone a bit further ahead in their career who can help me avoid common mistakes and soundboard big decisions in a safe space.”
“I want to connect with people outside my industry who can challenge how I think and offer completely different perspectives on the same problems.”

“I’d like to meet other people who find big networking events draining but still care about learning, sharing ideas and building supportive relationships.”

“I’m keen to talk to people who have experience with funding, incubators or career moves and are willing to share what they learned along the way.”

Here are some of the most common questions about tara and how our early access phase works. We’ve answered the essentials below, and you can find more detail on our Questions page.
tara is an online service that helps people have better one‑to‑one professional conversations. You create a short profile about what you’re working on and who you’d like to talk to, and in later phases we’ll use this to introduce you to people with similar goals and values.
tara is for people who are building or shaping something in their working life and want honest conversations, not sales pitches. It’s especially for people building largely on their own (founders, small business owners, side‑project builders and product or design professionals) who want support from others who understand the highs and lows, whether they’re going through it right now or have been there before.
Early access is our first launch of tara, where a smaller group can try things out and help shape how it works. You can think of it as a beta launch: the core idea is live, but we’re still learning, improving and not yet introducing members to each other at full speed.
tara is built around calm, focused one‑to‑one conversations, not feeds, likes or cold outreach. There are no algorithms ranking your posts or pushing you to perform; the aim is simply to bring together people who care about similar things for real conversation.

tara is in early access, working closely with a small group of people to understand what really helps them connect in a way that feels purposeful, inclusive and low‑noise. By joining now, you’ll help shape how the product and community evolve through your feedback and real conversations.
